I am happy to have been elected as the Boise Area Alumni Chapter President for this coming year. During our January meeting I had a larger message that I wanted to convey to everyone, but the basic nuts and bolts was that I want to see a coming together. Over the past few years there have been some differences between the Undergraduate Chapters and the Alumni Chapter. These differences have stemmed from a lack of communication, and I want to bridge that gap. <br /><br />See, as I see it, we are all one Brotherhood. I think that we too easily forget that. Some may feel that the standards for brotherhood are too high or too low compared to when they were initiated. But it comes down to this: the Ritual has made us one brotherhood, and regardless of how we feel we are tied to one another. Many brothers have given so much to the Fraternity that their contributions are beyond measure. I am not asking everyone to be a superhero; I am just asking to do more. More volunteering, more associating with each other, more mentoring for our younger brethren. <br /><br />I am proud to be a Kappa Sigma, and I want to guide our association to being one of the best Alumni groups in the Fraternal World. To do that, I will need your help. I want to make this organization a reflection of our desires as Kappa Sigma's but also our desires of what we want to stand for. Please I welcome any and all help, suggestions, or ideas.
